Yoga is for the body and mind you have right now.

My own yoga journey started as a teenager, more than three decades ago, and has served me as:

  • An activity I enjoyed as a stressed-out college student
  • A way to maintain flexibility as an endurance athlete
  • A playful means of testing my balance and strength
  • A slow, gentle mind-body practice for challenging times

As an RYT-200 certified yoga instructor with additional credentials in yin, yoga nidra, and trauma-informed practice, I firmly follow yin teacher Bernie Clark's philosophy that "We don't use the body to get into a pose - we use the pose to get into our body."

No matter what your physical capabilities, current exercise habits, or life stage, yoga is here to met you, exactly as you are right now.
